The Brookfield Museum & Historical Society maintains a collection of more than 13,000 dated artifacts dealing with Brookfield and/or items that contributed to our growth as a society.  To help researchers and to better share our collection, we utilize the revised and expanded version of Robert G. Chenhall’s system of classifying man made objects.  Please contact us if you have an interest in a particular artifact.

We are very appreciative of the Albert Wadsworth & Helen Clark Meserve Memorial Fund for their grant to our Society.  We will, from time to time, be using this page to show you parts of our collection.  In most cases you will find an article about the Collection on the Brookfield History page.

If you are interested in sharing your collection with others, we would be very happy to photograph your collection, and with appropriate text show it on our website, and add the photographs to our collection for future viewing.  Of course we would be very honored if you were to donate your individual items or an entire collection to our society.
