Bible Quilt
This quilt was made in 1941 by May Fennell. The patterns were purchased through the Ladies Homes Journal magazine.
The blocks, from top to bottom, left to right depict Adam naming the animals, Noah’s Ark, Jacob’s Ladder, Joseph and his brethren, Moses in the bulrushes, Egyptians and the Red Sea, Sampson and Delilah, David and Goliath, the Queen of Sheba’s visit, Daniel in the lion’s den, Belshazzar’s Feast, and Jonah and the Whale.
