A Wooden Model of a Typical Railroad Station found along the Housatonic Railroad Line. Circa: 1925 The real station was built in 1886. It cost $15,000.00 and was similar in architectural style to several other stations in our area. Any one of the forty trains that passed through Brookfield each day could have taken passengers or freight as far north as Pittsfield, Massachusetts or Albany, New York and south to Bridgeport or New Haven. |
