Research
The Research Center is open during the times that the Museum is open and by appointment. The materials are not available for loan and must be used in the Museum building.
The Research Center has books on the history of Brookfield, surrounding towns and the State of Connecticut. There are genealogy items - books, diaries, CDs, cemetery records, etc. Old newspapers, maps, deeds, and old tax records are also available for use. Additionally books on collecting antiques, dating old photographs and preservation can also be found here. We have many old photographs and videos of Brookfield.
